Michelle was raised in Norrisville, Maryland on her parents’, Wayne and Linda Hoppe’s, small sawmill farm. In her first year of college, at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Michelle was diagnosed with multiple learning disabilities in reading, writing, and mathematics, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, and attention deficit. Michelle completed fifteen consecutive years of collegiate study, earning a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree, a Master's Plus Thirty Certificate of Advanced Study in Education, and completing the coursework for a PhD: Doctorate of Philosophy, all at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Michelle was a student teacher for three terms at The Odyssey School, which teaches bright dyslexic students academic compensation strategies for educational success. Michelle also served a practicum experience as the role of Acting Principal, under the direction of the Head Master. At age 21, Michelle founded Noah’s Ark Academic Tutoring, Inc., an educational tutoring service for all students, yet specializing in assisting students with dyslexia, learning differences, and attention deficits. Michelle's high energy and motivation encourages our students to perform at their best. Our students' grades and self-esteem improve.
Michelle's husband, Garvin earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Agronomy from Oklahoma State University. Garvin is an Agricultural Agronomist and Ranch Farmer raising Black Angus Beef Cattle, wheat, hay, corn, soybeans, and alfalfa. Michelle and husband Garvin are parents to their nine year old son and eight year old daughter. Michelle home educates their children in the morning, while tutoring afternoon and evening hours.

Summer Tutoring
All students must attend tutoring at least one session, which is one hour, per week.
In person tutoring available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
